My photographic style is romantic and natural, blending documentary storytelling with an editorial aesthetic. I’m drawn to the genuine moments and beautiful details that make each celebration uniquely yours.
Every artistic choice is made with your story in mind, creating images that feel true to who you are and the way your day unfolds.
I believe in quality over quantity, carefully curating a collection of photographs that captures the emotion, intimacy, and meaningful moments woven throughout your celebration.
In essence, I approach your wedding day much like a writer crafting a love story, weaving together genuine interactions, intentional portraits, and the beautifully unexpected into a visual narrative that reflects your love and your celebration.
-
My approach is all about finding a natural balance between meaningful, intentional portraits and the genuine moments that unfold throughout your celebration. I’ll offer gentle direction when needed during portraits, helping you feel comfortable and at ease while keeping things natural rather than overly posed. I’ll also make sure there’s time to document the candid interactions, happy tears, spontaneous laughter, and beautiful little details throughout your day.
I’d love to hear what you’re envisioning and which photographs are most meaningful to you. I’m happy to work alongside you and your wedding planner to create a sample photography timeline that allows room for the photographs you’re dreaming of while leaving plenty of breathing room to enjoy and experience your day. Your wedding shouldn’t feel like one long portrait session. By allowing space for the day to unfold naturally, we make room for those beautifully unexpected moments and the joy of being fully present with the people you love.
I’ve also created a collection of thoughtfully curated wedding guides exclusively for my couples, filled with timeline guidance, essential photography tips, and helpful insights to help everything feel more organized and at ease. My hope is that you can settle into your celebration, knowing the meaningful photographs are thoughtfully considered while still leaving room for all the joy and emotion that unfold throughout your day.
-
I believe the most meaningful photographs come from being fully present in the moments that make your wedding day beautiful.
My approach is rooted in storytelling, capturing the emotion, movement, thoughtful details, and beautifully unexpected moments that make your celebration memorable. I want your photographs to feel authentic to your relationship, capturing not only how your day looked, but how it felt.
From the quiet in-between moments to the joyful celebrations, I’m there to guide when needed, observe when it matters most, and create a collection of images that tells the story of your day as it naturally unfolds.
It’s an honor to document such a meaningful chapter. My hope is that you feel comfortable, cared for, and completely yourself throughout the experience.

I am based in Wimberley, Texas and Durango, Colorado, and I love documenting celebrations in both the Texas Hill Country and Rocky Mountains.
Travel within 60 miles of either location is included with each collection. For locations beyond 60 miles, travel fees may apply and are calculated based on distance. Destination weddings, out-of-state, and international celebrations are quoted individually based on the details of your event.
For weddings or sessions more than two hours from Wimberley or Durango, overnight accommodations may be requested.
-
Absolutely! Upon receiving your final gallery, a personal use print release will be provided, allowing you to print your photographs wherever you choose and share them with the people you love.
I truly love seeing my couples share their images, and I would be so grateful if you tag @1778photo when sharing online. It is always a joy to see your memories celebrated and shared.
-
You are welcome to print your photographs wherever you choose, but I highly recommend ordering prints directly through your online gallery.
Prints purchased through the gallery are created through a professional fine art print lab and are carefully produced for exceptional color accuracy, quality, and longevity. There is a beautiful difference in the way your photographs look and feel when printed with professional materials and attention to detail.
-
The number of photographs you receive will vary depending on your wedding day coverage, but most couples receive approximately 400–1,000 carefully curated images.
For engagement, bridal, and boudoir sessions, galleries typically include 100–150 thoughtfully edited photographs.
My goal is never to overwhelm you with endless images, but to preserve every meaningful moment and detail that tells the story of your day. Each photograph delivered has been thoughtfully selected and edited to reflect the emotion, connection, and beauty of your celebration.
-
Your final gallery delivery time varies depending on the season and the number of weddings I am currently photographing, as each collection receives thoughtful care and attention during the editing process.
Most wedding galleries are delivered within 8–12 weeks, with a maximum turnaround of 12 weeks during the busiest seasons. I will always share a preview of your wedding highlights within one week of your celebration so you can begin reliving your favorite moments right away.
For engagement, bridal, and boudoir sessions, please allow 15–20 business days for your final gallery delivery.
-
Yes, expedited gallery delivery is available for couples who would like to receive their photographs sooner than the standard turnaround time.
For a $1,500 investment, your completed online gallery will be delivered within 10 business days of your wedding date.

Rather than following a scripted shot list of what a wedding is “supposed” to look like, I focus on documenting your day as it naturally unfolds. The most meaningful photographs often come from genuine connection, real emotion, and the beautifully unscripted moments that make your story uniquely yours.
I focus on how your wedding day feels—the excitement, the love, the laughter, and the quiet moments in between. My goal is to create photographs that reflect your experience, not recreate someone else’s.
The one list I do love to have is your family portrait groupings. I recommend preparing this in advance and sending it to me before your wedding day. A list of approximately 10–12 groupings is ideal—consider the family photographs you’ll want to print, frame, or include in your album.

While I collaborate with additional photographers on a wedding-to-wedding basis, I personally love documenting your day as the lead photographer. This allows for consistency throughout your gallery and ensures that your story is captured with intention from beginning to end.
Many weddings can be beautifully documented with one photographer through thoughtful timeline planning and intentional coverage. If your celebration includes unique timeline considerations, a larger guest count, or moments happening simultaneously, an additional photographer may be a wonderful addition.
In many cases, adding an extra hour or two of coverage can also provide the time needed to capture more of your story.

Engagement sessions are a beautiful opportunity to slow down, enjoy this season of your relationship, and create photographs that reflect the love you share.
I love engagement sessions because they give us a chance to spend time together before your wedding day while creating images that feel natural, relaxed, and true to you.
If things feel a little awkward at first, that’s completely normal. I’ll offer gentle direction throughout your session, but the most important thing is simply to focus on each other. Before long, you’ll find yourselves laughing, relaxing, and settling into the moment, allowing your photographs to reflect the joy of simply being together.
-
Absolutely! Feeling comfortable in front of the camera is something many couples share, and it’s completely normal.
My approach is a balance of gentle guidance and authentic observation. I’ll offer natural direction and prompts when needed to help you feel at ease, while also giving you the space to simply be yourselves and allowing genuine moments to unfold.
There’s no need for stiff poses or forced smiles. My goal is to create a relaxed experience where you can focus on each other, knowing I’m there to document the laughter, genuine emotion, and meaningful little moments that make your engagement session or wedding day so memorable.
-
I always encourage couples to embrace whatever the weather brings, because some of the most meaningful and unique photographs are created in unexpected conditions.
As a photographer, I’m experienced in creating beautiful imagery in rain, wind, snow, and dramatic skies. Moody clouds, movement in your dress, or the soft romance of raindrops can add an unforgettable atmosphere and make your photographs truly one of a kind.
For engagement or bridal sessions, if conditions become unsafe or prevent us from creating the experience we envision, we can absolutely reschedule. On your wedding day, we embrace the story as it unfolds and make the most of every moment.
If desired, a post-nuptial session can also be scheduled after your wedding day, allowing you to step back into your attire and create additional portraits in a setting and season that feels right for you.
-
Yes. I am fully insured and arrive prepared with professional backup equipment, including additional cameras, lenses, batteries, and memory cards. I take every precaution to ensure your wedding day is documented with care, reliability, and peace of mind.
-
While this is an unlikely circumstance, your peace of mind is incredibly important to me. If I were ever unable to photograph your wedding due to an unforeseen emergency, a trusted professional photographer from my network would step in to ensure your day is documented beautifully.
I maintain a trusted network of talented photographers who share a similar approach, style, and commitment to thoughtful storytelling.
If a suitable replacement could not be arranged, your photography investment would be refunded so you can make alternative arrangements.
I take every precaution to ensure I am prepared, present, and able to provide the thoughtful experience your wedding day deserves.
-
Totally up to you! I’m happy to connect by email, text, phone, or in person—whatever feels easiest and most comfortable for you.
-

The retainer is applied toward your collection investment, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding day.
I’m so excited to begin this journey with you and document the meaningful moments, joyful celebrations, and beautiful little details that make your day so lovely.
